Catalog Addendum

On March 19, the Tuition & Fees page was modified to update meal plan fees.

On March 20, 2026, the Deferred Enrollment page was modified to add the following statement: Any student who requests to defer must declare the term they wish to defer to, and it must be within 1 year of the initial term of acceptance. All deferrals are subject to pending seat availability in future terms. If an accepted student needs to defer a second time or enrolls in a separate degree-seeking program during the deferral period, they will be asked to reapply with updated transcripts to their desired term. Any merit-based scholarship and / or conditions of acceptance remain active during the deferral period. 

On March 23, the Deferred Enrollment page was modified to add the following statement: For students accepted into the Master of Clinical Mental Health Counseling or Master of Science in Addictions Counseling, Johnson & Wales University offers a one semester deferred enrollment for students who have applied, have been accepted, and deposited but, for various reasons, wish to postpone their graduate enrollment.

On April 2, 2026, the International Admissions Requirements page was modified to remove the following statement under the Application section: Either a completed and signed JWU Undergraduate Financial Declaration Form OR a certified bank statement.

On April 8, 2026, the Applying for Admission page was modified to add the following content: Test Scores: JWU is test optional. The submission of standardized test scores (SAT, ACT) or SAT Essay/ACT Writing is at the student’s discretion. Those who do not submit scores will not be disadvantaged in the review process. 

On April 22, 2026, the Technical Standards page was modified to add the Master of Science in Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics (MSCND) Technical Standards.
