Catalog Addendum

On March 17, 2022, the Applying for Admission page was modified to remove international credential evaluation information.

On March 17, 2022, the English Proficiency Requirements page was modified to update the undergraduate score  for the PTE Academic (Pearson Test of English) Online or at-home option from 50 to 53.

On March 25, 2022, the International Admissions Requirements page was modified to remove information regarding transcript requirements for international students.

On March 25, 2022, the Accelerated Programs page was modified to add links to the B.S. Biology or B.S. Health Science/M.S.P.A.S. Articulation Agreement page as well as the Occupational Therapy Doctorate Articulation Agreement page. 

On March 28, 2022, the Tuition and Fees page was modified to include the information that the price for student health insurance is $2580. 

On April 1, 2022, the Drug and Alcohol Policy page was modified to add the following statement: Based on a Department of Education change, students no longer face penalties or suspension of Title IV aid due to a drug conviction that occurred while the student was enrolled and receiving Title IV aid. 

On April 6, 2022, the University Withdrawal Credit Policy page was modified to clarify the add/drop period deadlines.

On May 2, 2022, the Licensure & Professional Certification Disclosures page was modified to include additional information regarding the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) accreditation of the Dietetics & Applied Nutrition - B.S. degree program.

On June 21, 2022, the Transcripts page was modified to update prices for express delivery options of transcripts.

On June 28, 2022, the Deferred Enrollment page was modified to note that the deferred enrollment period is now 3 years rather than 2 years. 

On June 28, 2022, the English Proficiency Requirements page was modified to include additional countries on the list of majority English-speaking countries, as well as a note that JWU reserves the right to request English proficiency. 

On July 6, 2022, the Trustees and Officers of the Corporation page was modified to add and remove several members from the list of Board of Trustees and Officers of the Corporation.

On July 11, 2022, the Technical Standards page was modified to add the following statement to the College of Food Innovation & Technology section: As a student taking classes offered by the College of Food Innovation and Technology (CFIT) or other classes involving baking, cooking, or work with foods, liquids, and kitchen appliances, you should be aware of possible risks.  Such risks include, but are in no way limited to, minor injuries to severe injuries, up to and including death.  Maintaining health and safety practices can help minimize the risks but cannot entirely eliminate them.  The risks include but are not limited to injuries from: burns and fires; cuts from broken glass, knives, and other appliances; chemicals; loose clothes and hair getting trapped in an appliance or catching fire; slips and falls; spread of bacteria through unsanitary food storage or unsanitary use of cleaning and other products; and strains from carrying heavy or sharp items. As a student of this class, you commit to taking all reasonable health and safety precautions to avoid injury to yourself and anyone else in the food preparation area. 

On August 16, 2022, the Credits and Grades page was modified to update the number of weeks allowed before an Incomplete grade becomes an F from two to five. 

On September 2, 2022, the Drug and Alcohol Policy page was modified to reflect the updated policy.

On September 19, 2022, the Notice of Nondiscrimination page was modified to reflect the updated policy. 

On October 18, 2022, the Corporate Accounting and Financial Analysis - B.S. page was modified to change information related to the CPA examination.
