Food Systems Innovation & Leadership - M.S.

The Food Systems Innovation & Leadership master’s degree empowers emerging and established food professionals to lead change across the global food system. Designed for working professionals, recent graduates and leaders in food organizations, the program integrates systems thinking with hands-on innovation leadership. Students explore how food impacts people, businesses and the planet using new technologies, design methods and entrepreneurial models to create scalable, sustainable solutions that advance the future of food.  

Upon completion of the program, graduates are expected to:

  • Analyze the global relationship between food, society, business, government and the environment.
  • Propose solutions to systemic food system issues that consider the perspective of all users and the potential impact to the food system. 
  • Organize collaborative diverse teams dedicated to solving systemic food system issues.
  • Disseminate empirical research findings.
