Pre-Master's

While enrolled in the Pre-Master's program, students will be registered by Student Academic Services until all requirements are successfully completed. A schedule hold is in effect during this time, which prevents the student from making changes to their schedule.

Upon anticipated completion of all Pre-Master's requirements, the schedule hold will be released. Students are then required to register themselves for all master's program requirements.

Should a student not successfully complete any Pre-Master's requirement, the schedule hold will be reactivated and the student will be re-registered accordingly. Students accepted into the Pre-Master's program cannot transfer to a master's program without first completing all Pre-Master's program requirements. Students must successfully complete the Pre-Master's program with a grade point average of 3.0 to enroll directly into their selected master's program.
