At the close of the 2020-2021 academic year (subject to possible courses through the summer of 2021), no programs in this catalog will be offered to any students at the North Miami campus, as the Denver and North Miami campuses will be closing after the end of the 2020-2021 academic year (subject to possible courses through the summer of 2021).
The College of Hospitality Management offers a minor in Professional Golf Management that prepares students to take on leadership roles in golf management and golf related industries. By combining classes in golf skills and golf management with traditional management classes, students gain a solid foundation with which to succeed in this growing industry. Moreover, students have opportunities to deepen their knowledge in the specific areas which are the most appealing to them including, but not limited to, teaching golf, managing a golf facility and/or private club, sponsorship and marketing. Students can choose classes in the minor which they feel will be most beneficial to advancing their career in the golf industry.
