This course introduces students to how social media has evolved and how it can be used as an effective tool to enhance and develop business marketing and sales. Social media has established itself as the pre-eminent focal point for social interaction using web-based technologies, with people generating their own content, social commentary and opinions reaching a wide audience through friends, recommendations and same interest groups. Businesses from small to large are using social media to engage with their customers on an entirely new level, helping promote their products and services and keep in touch with them on a personal level.
